The last election became an event that caused many Thai societies to "shock simultaneously."
In the social world, many are confident that the direction of Thai politics is on the way to a major change. Political parties seen as representing new politics seem to dominate the online media space in a landslide, whether it's shares, retweet tops, viral clips, or influencer analytics.
The images appeared on mobile screens, leading many people to believe that a "country shift" had taken place and that there was only time for the election results to confirm what everyone was thinking.
But when the card chest was opened, it reflected another image.
"A winning party in the online world does not win in the real world," and a party that is barely mentioned on social media (and is screwed up on social media) scores in a lot of real space.
The important question is not who wins, but why does "the picture we see on mobile" not match the truth of the country?
This article does not intend to aggravate any party, but rather to use it as a strategic case study to look at Thai politics at the social structure, voter behavior, and limitations of digital politics.
And importantly, to ask if you want to change a real country, "What kind of politics can win in the real world, not just in the online world?" Because in the end, politics is not a popularity competition in platforms, but a competition for the confidence of real people, real concerns, and problems that need real answers.

1. Echo Chamber When we listen to people who think like us
One of the big problems with the social media age is that algorithms repeatedly select the content we like.
* When we click like, share, or interact with political content, the more the system feeds the same content until eventually we see only people who think like us.
* So we accidentally believe that "everyone thinks like us," but in reality, the country is not just made up of people in our timeline. Many people do not play Facebook or Twitter, do not follow online betting, and do not eat news through popular political pages, but they live with abdominal problems, crop prices, village streets, uneven water supply, distant hospitals, and debts that require monthly installments.
In the online world, ideology may be important, but in the real world, "who has access" and "who helps solve problems" are more important.
* Politicians who walk into funerals, ordinances, or village meetings may never appear in the social world, but are constantly trusted by people in the area.
* Winning politics in social. May lose in the village and that is the key lesson of this election.

2. Misunderstand that the current is the sound base.
Previous elections, led many parties to believe that a new political wave was permanently emerging, but strategically, what happened may have been just "the peak of boredom for traditional politics" rather than a long-term structural change.
Over time, many voters began to raise the new question:
* Who can actually work to make his life better?
* Politics isn't just about being truthful in principle, it has to prove results in real life.
* The current may take you into council, but only the sound base keeps you long.
* Winning one election does not mean that confidence will last forever if people do not see changes in their daily lives.
Sustainable politics, therefore, must change from "temporary popularity" to "long-term confidence," which requires time, consistency, and real space work.

3. Politics is not the only field of authenticity.
Many young political parties often see themselves as being on the right side, and the other is the country's problem.
But in the real world, voters do not view white and black politics.
Many people choose from
* Familiarity
* Trust
* Access
* Local assistance
* Or even a personal relationship
"Declaring to be hostile to all parties, ultimately no one is ready to cooperate."
* Politics is the art of making alliances, not just making fans.
* Real change is usually by gradually balancing power, not destroying everything at once.
* Politics therefore relies on both ideology and the ability to work with people who think differently.

4. Don't insult the sound we don't see.
"The election results caused an insult to certain groups of voters as not understanding politics, or accepting the old system."
But the more that view pushes people away, the more people who choose differently from us may not be stupid or buy voices, but they may have different reasons and needs.
* Some people choose from actual experience.
* Some choose from tangible help.
* Some choose because stability is more important than changes that are still uncertain.
Politics that want to win have to start with listening, not judgment, because in the end, to insult the voters is to insult the owners of the country.

5. Why do some parties win, even if they are not famous or social?
What the election results reflect is that Thai politics is still driven by local networks, continuous work and community relations.
Political parties that are uniformly grounded, have accessible representatives and can help solve real problems at the local level are often more trusted than specific healthy parties in the online world.
Strategically, this is the difference between "communication" and "building relationships."
Social help create flows quickly.
But relationships in confidence-building areas are longer, so parties that understand this point can grow even if they do not appear online.

6. If you want to change countries, you have to win in the real world?
If a new generation of political parties wants to change the country, there are at least four important strategic lessons.
1. Leave the online world to build a base in real space.
2. Create tangible contributions, not just words in the House
3. Learn compromise and build alliances.
4. Listen sincerely to the voices of people who think differently.
Changing the country is not a one-day revolution, but a long-term process of accumulation of confidence.

The final question is, "Is Thailand not ready or is new politics not ready?"
After the election, many people said, "This country is not ready for change."
But the more important question is:
* Or a new kind of politics not ready for the real world?
* Changing a country is not caused by winning in the social world, but by winning people's hearts in real life.
* Because in the end, the votes were not in the mobile phone, but in the hands of the people who walked to drop their cards in front of the booth.
* And as long as politics doesn't understand the real world, the election results will wake many from their dreams repeatedly.
The question is not who should win, but "Who understands enough people to win in the real world?" Because the future of Thai politics is not only communication technology or online strategy.
But it's about being able to make people feel that their lives are really improving, and when that day comes, Thai politics may not have to ask who won the election, but whether the country has a leader who really understands the people?
