- La Jolla Beach: the most well-known and popular place to see the seals. They are the most visible between December - May, and you can see them simply by just walking along the sidewalks and beaches at La Jolla. There will be gates put up for your safety and their privacy. It's hard not to snap hundreds of photos when visiting!
- Point Dume Beach: located in the northern part of SoCal is another great place to see the seals. Point Dume in located in Malibu, as you'll be able to see them from afar. They will show up during low tide, as you'll hear them first before seeing them because of the distance.
