Transparency Tuesday
God gave you a gift of 86,400 seconds today. Have you used one of them to say, “Thank You”? 🙏🏿
Every day, we are gifted 86,400 seconds—a beautiful, tangible reminder from God to cherish our time and experiences. One practice I've found truly transformative is dedicating just 60 seconds to intentional gratitude before making any requests or facing challenges. This simple act shifts my focus from what's missing to appreciating what I already have, which brings peace and clarity in moments of stress. I remember a day when I was overwhelmed by everything I felt was lacking. Then I paused, took that gratitude moment, and named three things I was thankful for—health, supportive friends, and a quiet morning. Suddenly, my worries seemed less daunting, and I felt a renewed sense of hope. Transparency Tuesday is more than a reminder to say ‘Thank You’; it’s an invitation to recognize blessings as a daily practice. By counting your blessings and thanking God before asking for anything else, you build a testimony of faithfulness and cultivate a positive mindset. I encourage you to try this challenge: before making any request or complaint, take a minute to acknowledge God’s faithfulness in your life. Name specific things you’re grateful for and truly feel that appreciation. This simple habit can profoundly impact your mental wellbeing and outlook. While we may not control every circumstance around us, we always have the power to choose our focus. Embracing gratitude empowers us to become more resilient, content, and joyful—even in the face of life’s difficulties. Try this practice on your next Transparency Tuesday and notice how your perspective and spirit evolve over time.
