The best staples for summer! 🌞👖👕

I stand by the fact that summer is for easy outfits. And year after year, I feel myself reaching for the same basic pieces that are so easy to style all season long and despite ever changing trends, they remain solid staples in my summer wardrobe. Some of these pieces are years old now and are still serving me so well. If you are looking to invest in some basic summer staples, I would say start with these pieces, they are timeless, effortless and have stood the test of time!

Bottoms

A good pair of jean shorts and regular long jeans are always in rotation. You cannot go wrong with these two staple bottoms. They go with pretty much everything and can be styled both up or down

Dresses

A bias cut silk dress is always in my summer wardrobe. There’s really not much to say about it except it is thee perfect summer dress! I always find myself reaching for my tank dress as well, another really easy piece to throw on!

Tops

You cannot go wrong with a tank top and a nice strapless top for summer. Both of these are the perfect basic tops for pants, skirts, etc. They go with everything and have been in rotation year after year.
