when i was little, i asked why she had butterflies tattooed on her chest so big, she told me,

“i love butterflies! i’ve always loved butterflies- even now that i’m old and saggy”

she was such a free spirit & i try to channel her in everything i do- i truly don’t believe in regretting tattoos bc they’re a mosaic of who you are and who you’ve been 🫶

The second, a spiral star tattoo, reflects my deep connection with a long-distance friend, underscoring the importance of spiritual connections despite physical distance. In today's culture, tattoos serve not only as body art but as a canvas for our life experiences and values. Each inked design is a testament to who we are, embracing both past and present, which aligns with the belief that tattoos should never be regretted, as they illustrate our ever-evolving identities.
