I know I look a hot mess don’t worry about all that!
We had leftovers for supper tonight and the girls didn’t want that so they ate whatever they wanted .. we have a pantry, fridge, & 2 deep freezers full of enough food to last through anything! Trust me they are fully fullfillled and satisfied with their choices tonight they’ll be alright 🙂

As a busy mom myself, I completely understand the challenge of juggling meal prep with daily responsibilities. Having a pantry, fridge, and even two deep freezers fully stocked has been a game changer in our household. It’s not just about having food available — it’s about having the right kinds of staples that can quickly be turned into satisfying meals. For me, this means always keeping a variety of frozen vegetables, pre-cooked proteins like shredded chicken or frozen meatballs, and pantry essentials such as canned beans, pasta, and sauces. With these basics, it’s easy to throw together quick dishes that everyone enjoys, even on days when the kids are picky or not interested in leftovers. I’ve found that giving kids some choice over what they eat helps reduce mealtime battles. Sometimes they want something light, other times a full meal. Having options ready means they can pick and choose, which also empowers them and makes mealtime more peaceful. Lazy mom recipes aren’t about sacrificing nutrition; they're about making smart swaps and shortcuts that save time. For example, a frozen lasagna or a batch of homemade soup in the freezer can be lifesavers after a hectic day. Finally, don’t feel guilty if your kitchen isn’t Pinterest-perfect. The priority is that everyone is nourished and happy. Embracing imperfect moments—like looking a ‘hot mess’—is part of keeping a joyful and flexible family atmosphere. Stock your fridge and freezer wisely, offer options, and enjoy stress-free dinners more often!
