The 2020 West Point Guam Bat Quarter is my favorite . I just found this coin in a mixed
roll of circulated and uncirculated
quarters . At this point in the game , uncirculated "conditioned" ones are getting even harder to find .
I searched 2 boxes of 2,000 plus
30 rolls of 1,200 for a total of
5,200 coins total to find this .
It was in the last part of the last roll . It's the second one I've found and I needed it to complete my 2nd set of the 10 , 2019 and 2020 W quarters.

From my experience, patience and dedication are key when searching through mixed rolls. I spent considerable time sorting through thousands of quarters — over 5,200 coins in total — before finding a second pristine example of this coin to finish my second 2019-2020 West Point set.
The West Point Mint quarters with the distinctive 'W' mintmark are a favored target among collectors because they are relatively scarce compared to those minted elsewhere. The 2020 Guam Bat Quarter is especially sought after due to both its unique design and lower mintage numbers. When hunting, I found that uncirculated coins tend to be tucked in the last few rolls of a box, as I discovered this quarter in the very last part of my search.
One tip I can share is to always check mixed rolls containing both circulated and uncirculated coins, as sometimes uncirculated specimens can unexpectedly appear. It’s also important to handle coins carefully to maintain their condition, especially when identifying 'conditioned' uncirculated quarters.
This coin hunt also taught me the value of perseverance and organization. Keeping track of rolls searched and systematically progressing through boxes can help avoid repeated work and increase your chances of success. For collectors looking to complete sets like the 2019 and 2020 West Point quarters, joining coin collecting forums and communities can provide useful insights and occasional trading opportunities.
Overall, the thrill of finally adding the 2020 West Point Bat Quarter to my collection after such an exhaustive search makes it a prized possession. Whether you are a seasoned collector or a newcomer, these challenges bring rewarding experiences and deepen appreciation for numismatics.
