Major Error on Quarter

Cracked Die Error

How to tell a die cracks error from a scratch ... a die cracks error is the negative of the cracks in the die so it is an outie like a belly button and I cut or scratch is an indie. I use tooth picks to make sure the line is projected out from the coin before I declare it a die error
