Do you think apple upgrade program is worth it?

I have asked if the apple upgrade program saves you money and the short answer is no.

While researching, I found that buying your phone outright and reselling it a year or two later will save you the most money.

However, the draws to the apple upgrade include the following:

-apple care is included

-you get to upgrade every year without much effort or planning

- you do not have to worry about reselling your phone (and I mean reselling not trading in)

So while the apple upgrade program may not be the best financial decision, it still might be worth it depending on what you are looking for. I personally have been using the program for a few years now and love it. I was disappointed when I found out it was not saving me any money. However, leaving the program does not seem worth the extra money I would save. I like the ease of upgrading and I get excited every September for the new phone. If I was not on the program I would probably have to debate with myself every year if I should upgrade or wait until there is something wrong with the phone. I consider this a luxury service that does not break the bank.
