Dante is a spicy, forced proximity, mafia romance between Kat and Dante, and it’s the first book in the Chicago Ruthless series.
I really loved Kat’s character. She wants so badly to remain who she is and not conform to any expectations set on her just because of the circumstances she finds herself in. It’s not surprising that she would be afraid of having feelings for Dante and it makes her want to run, I’d most likely react the same way. And I completely understand how she was nervous about falling in love with him when she’d already been betrayed by a loved one before. It made seeing the two of them learn about each other and fall in love that much sweeter as she learns to let her guard down and trust him fully.
Dante is the definition of a mafia man, and I’m here for it! Despite any hurdles he and Kat run into, he will stop at nothing to assure her that she’s always safe with him and never has to fear him. As their love grows, you can see him letting down his walls, finding comfort in being around her after a long day and making up for his mistakes by giving her everything she could ever want to make her happy. He treats her like his queen, and no matter what happens, he makes sure that their family will live happily ever after.
This is a fantastic mafia romance, and I can’t wait to continue on with the series in the future💕
