Book Review

Book name: Dante

Author: Sadie Kincaid

Genre: Mafia Romance

Intro:

My rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

My review:

Dante is a spicy, forced proximity, mafia romance between Kat and Dante, and it’s the first book in the Chicago Ruthless series.

I really loved Kat’s character. She wants so badly to remain who she is and not conform to any expectations set on her just because of the circumstances she finds herself in. It’s not surprising that she would be afraid of having feelings for Dante and it makes her want to run, I’d most likely react the same way. And I completely understand how she was nervous about falling in love with him when she’d already been betrayed by a loved one before. It made seeing the two of them learn about each other and fall in love that much sweeter as she learns to let her guard down and trust him fully.

Dante is the definition of a mafia man, and I’m here for it! Despite any hurdles he and Kat run into, he will stop at nothing to assure her that she’s always safe with him and never has to fear him. As their love grows, you can see him letting down his walls, finding comfort in being around her after a long day and making up for his mistakes by giving her everything she could ever want to make her happy. He treats her like his queen, and no matter what happens, he makes sure that their family will live happily ever after.

This is a fantastic mafia romance, and I can’t wait to continue on with the series in the future💕

... Read moreMy journey through Sadie Kincaid's 'Dante' was an absolute whirlwind, and if you're like me, constantly on the hunt for a gripping mafia romance, you've probably stumbled across this gem too! What really drew me in, beyond the compelling plot, was the sheer depth of the 'Chicago Ruthless' series. 'Dante' isn't just a standalone; it's the powerful first book that sets the stage for a world where loyalty and danger intertwine. Knowing it's part of a larger, interconnected series makes the investment in these characters even more rewarding. One thing that often comes up when people talk about 'Dante' is its striking book cover. I totally get it! The image of a man with tattoos, a definite 'mafia man' vibe, perfectly captures the essence of Dante himself. And that tagline, 'For her, he would break all the rules...'? It instantly promises the kind of intense, protective hero we crave in this genre. It's not just a pretty cover; it truly reflects the story within and explains why so many search for the 'Dante Sadie Kincaid book cover' specifically. Beyond the main couple, Kat and Dante, the series subtly introduces you to the broader Chicago underworld. While the focus of this book is firmly on their developing relationship, you get glimpses of other characters and power dynamics that make you eager to continue with the 'Chicago Ruthless' saga. It's this kind of world-building that makes Sadie Kincaid's series so addictive. If you're wondering about connections to other Kincaid books or characters, like those from 'Broken Bloodlines,' rest assured that the 'Chicago Ruthless' series stands strong on its own while hinting at a richer universe. The forced proximity trope in 'Dante' is expertly handled. It’s not just a plot device; it’s the catalyst for Kat and Dante to really get to know each other, stripping away their defenses. As a reader, you feel every ounce of Kat's apprehension and Dante's unwavering determination to protect her. This isn't just about a powerful man; it's about a man who truly sees and values his 'queen,' making their bond all the more believable and swoon-worthy. Many readers, especially college women and those who appreciate strong heroines, will find Kat's journey of overcoming past betrayals incredibly relatable. If you loved the intense chemistry and character development in 'Dante,' you'll definitely want to explore the rest of the 'Chicago Ruthless' series. Sadie Kincaid has a way of crafting worlds where danger is ever-present, but love finds a way to conquer all. It's a perfect blend of high stakes, raw emotion, and undeniable passion. Trust me, once you start with Dante, you won't want to stop until you've devoured the entire series!

I have very dry skin. I’m not sensitive to products so I tried this and here’s my honest opinion Toner: I do this before adding anything to my face. Ig cleans up any dirt (?) and impurities on my face and leaves my face looking clean and clear. 10/10 serum: I apply this after I use the toner
