Unemployed 3 months ago.. & still counting on ;D

Oh yessss! Another month surviving!

And I am fully occupied this month 😂🥹

✅ Bring myself to tooth whitening before CNY

✅ Experience my first Chiro and that was good

✅ finally back to Gym for about 1-2months rest 🐍

✅ finally got my short getaway trip with my ex-colleagues

✅ insanely accept gift box order before CNY

✅ simple celebration for 7th anniversary

✅ set up CNY both last week before CNY

✅ manage to go back hometown on time!

It was such a challenging month for all the tight schedules and yes I made it in the end‼️sososooo proud of ma self 🤣 and CNY is over soon ready to get back to working mood 🥹

... Read moreNavigating unemployment can be quite challenging, but staying busy with self-care and meaningful activities really helped me maintain a positive mindset. For instance, trying tooth whitening at Refine Therapeutic was not only a confidence booster but also a motivating way to take care of myself before the Chinese New Year (CNY). Experiencing chiropractic care for the first time at Ren Xin Tang was surprisingly refreshing. It relieved some tension from renewed workouts after a 1-2 month gym hiatus. Restarting exercise after a break can be tough, but the endorphin boost and improved energy made it worthwhile. Spending quality time with my ex-colleagues on a short 4-day getaway was a great way to reconnect socially during this tough phase. Sometimes, taking a break and sharing good moments can sustain your emotional well-being while job hunting. I also discovered the benefits of accepting small projects, like managing gift box orders and running a CNY pop-up booth. These tasks created a sense of accomplishment and structure in my otherwise unpredictable days. Finally, timely travel back to my hometown without the usual holiday traffic was a blessing, underscoring the importance of planning and flexibility. During unemployment, keeping a packed but balanced schedule helped me stay proud of my progress and ready to re-enter the workforce after CNY. Through these experiences, I learned that maintaining self-care, social connections, and pursuing small goals can transform the unemployed period from stagnant to productive and uplifting.

Maternity Benefit for the unemployed*
As long as you were employed for a min of 3months within a year prior to your child’s birth , you will get a lil bit of cash support from the government. It was a very quick procedure so long as you have all proper documents. I would ask you to prepare all your relevant payslips for submission

I got hired after grad & here’s what I did! 🥰
No one prepares you for the job search after uni. I thought once I had my degree, the interviews would come flooding in... but nothing happened for weeks. I was starting to get worried, especially when some of my seniors who graduated a semester earlier were still JOBLESS. I studied Psycholog

7kg weight loss *realistic
i realised when i stopped counting calories and when i stop thinking much about losing weight is when i finally lost weight. 1. Mentality - when u think too much about losing weight=thinking more abt food. u will think about what to eat and when to eat which will lead ur mind to constantly thin

I resigned
I used to enjoy working, I don’t quite know how to describe it but it was just fun spending time with colleagues, celebrating and struggling together. I enjoyed having the financial freedom to buy whatever I liked when I wanted to. I never thought I would be leaving my first full-time job so soon.
