Spiritual care is important !
It’s crazy how one week I just felt lost , blank and easily overwhelmed. I was talking to my sister in Christ and she told me to spend some time in the word. That day I sat outside studying a verse and talking to God and I would just look up at the trees just swaying from the wind. It felt as if he was making his presence known. After that day I had and have this urge to read , to learn. I’m talking about carrying two bibles , my journal , my commentary resources , chat gpt , highlighters and pens in a bookbag everywhere I go in the house. Praying for obedience and help to understand his word has ignited this fire in my heart and soul. God also reminded me this is why I created this journal and that I need to start using what I’m offering to the world. #jesuslovesyou #biblestudy #prayerroom #jesus #christiantiktok #christiansmallbusiness #spreadthegospel #readyourbible
It's so easy to feel adrift in life, isn't it? One moment you're navigating daily tasks, and the next, a wave of overwhelm hits, leaving you feeling lost and disconnected. That's exactly where I was, and it made me realize just how crucial spiritual wellness truly is. It's not just a 'nice-to-have'; it's a fundamental pillar for our overall well-being, just like physical or mental health. So, what exactly is spiritual care? For me, it’s about intentionally nurturing my spirit and my relationship with God. It's actively seeking peace, purpose, and meaning beyond the everyday hustle. It’s about creating space for that divine connection, allowing grace and wisdom to flow into your life. When I was feeling overwhelmed, my sister in Christ reminded me to spend time in the Word, and that simple act was a profound example of spiritual care in action. Beyond reading the Bible, there are so many practical ways to embrace spiritual wellness. One thing I've found incredibly helpful is incorporating 'Prayer for obedience' into my daily routine. It’s not just asking for things, but asking for guidance to walk in His ways and understand His 'Commandments.' This kind of prayer helps align my heart and mind, bringing so much clarity and helping me in my journey to 'reconnect with God.' Another powerful tool for me has been 'this journal.' It's where I jot down my thoughts, reflections on scripture, and even my prayers. It truly helps me in 'studying' and processing what I'm learning, making the insights stick. Paired with my Bible and other resources like commentaries, it becomes a tangible way to engage deeply. I even use it to practice 'GOOGRATITUDE,' which is a huge part of fostering a positive spirit and strengthening my connection. When I look back at my entries, I can see how God has moved in my life, strengthening my faith. Spiritual wellness can also look like spending time in nature, observing the beauty around us, just like I did watching the trees sway. It's recognizing divine presence in the everyday. Or it could be active participation in a faith community, sharing experiences and growing together. These aren't just isolated acts; they're threads woven into the fabric of a spiritually rich life, each contributing to a deeper sense of peace and purpose. It's a continuous journey, but taking those first steps of intentional spiritual care can truly ignite a fire in your heart and soul, helping you reconnect with God in profound ways.
