ORDINARY PEOPLE, NO NOT ONE!!! TITUS 3

Paul's letters to Titus are truly a lesson in what kind of character we are made of; as children of God, God’s Offspring we are expected to be like God!!! Jesus is our example of how we are to behave toward each other and to love one another!!! This fact is what helped me to be at home in my skin, people took my kindness as a weakness and would pick on me as a kid!!! I took a lot, but I would fight if someone kept being ignorant, and picking on me they thought I couldn't fight and would bully me in my youth!!! We moved to a new area when I was in fifth grade, and my neighbor down the street bullied me until I had to fight her back, after that we became best friends!!!

TITUS 3:1 Remind the people to be subject to rulers and authorities, to be obedient, to be ready to do whatever is good, 2 to slander no one, to be peaceable and considerate, and always to be gentle toward everyone. 3 At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another. 4 But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared, 5 he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior, 7 so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life. 8 This is a trustworthy saying. And I want you to stress these things, so that those who have trusted in God may be careful to devote themselves to doing what is good. These things are excellent and profitable for everyone.

... Read moreIn today's world, the message of Titus 3 remains ever relevant. The call to be obedient and to embody kindness fosters a positive community spirit. As highlighted in the verse "Slander no one. Be peaceable and considerate. Always to be gentle," these virtues are vital in overcoming negativity and promoting harmony. Furthermore, embracing goodness not only enhances personal relationships but contributes to the collective well-being of society. When faced with challenges, whether personal or societal, referencing biblical teachings can offer guidance and encouragement. Understanding that mercy, as stressed in Titus, is freely given, serves as a reminder to extend grace to others, promoting healing and reconciliation in our interactions. Ultimately, these teachings empower us to pursue a life characterized by love, understanding, and kindness, resonating with the essence of God's character.
