June Reads
It’s that time again where I give my version of reviews on books I’ve read this month and rate them. Anyway hope you enjoy!
1. Wild Love- Okay, I actually really loved this book. Loved Rose as a character. The fact she left little crumbs for the mouse is so sweet man. Ford is also awesome. The fact he took Cora in and helped her mom literally melts my heart. I adore them together and glad there wasn’t a break up trope at the end because honestly bio tired of couples breaking up and getting back together. She was mad and he gave her the space she deserved and even reflecting on his actions . Loved it 1000/5
2. Cruel Winter With you- I don’t usually read Christmas Books when it’s not the season or really at all but I thought it would be a nice short read between books. I’m be honest I remember really nothing about this book other then the girl being the older one and him being obsessed over her since they were kids. May go back and read it again later on but it was okay. 3/5
3.Wild Eyes- West and Skye may be in my top three favorite couples out of all the series. I adore them. I love that she’s trying to change and find herself and her own music. I was kinda surprised when they said she was a country singer because she gave me more pop vibes but hey. West is the best. He’s so funny to me and high energy that I wish I had. He definitely loves his kids. I lvoe that he doesn’t try to change his daughter and her wildness. Just muwah. Love this little family. 10/5
4. A Photo Finish- I don’t hate them as a couple but I didn’t love them as well. I think he’s what she needed in a way since he didn’t coddle her and that’s what she wanted in life but he was a little much. I will give him the fact that he is a vet and that’s just how he is. I know a couple people that are like him where everything has a spot and they need it to be that way. I am a little upset we didn’t get to see Cole and his brother talk and poor his feelings out. Not even in the bonus chapter. I think that would’ve been a good emotional moment that we missed. I like seeing male characters open up which we see with Violet but felt like he needed more. His leg shocked me. I thought with the snap we heard it was going to be a war flash back . I still enjoyed it and the fact they had a little baby at the end tho I don’t care much for the name. 4/5
5. Flawless- Rhett and Summer were an interesting pairing to say the least. I actually liked that they were different from eachother in many ways. Summers story actually made me cry a little and how she felt like she had to take over the company one day and make him proud. I hate that she felt like less for something that was out of her contorl and the step mom was a straight up bitch. I would not have given two shits, I would’ve gotten rid of the mom so fast. Can’t treat my other kid with some respect? Byeee girl. I do feel like her dad could’ve done more. Rhett definitely was a favorite male lead. Glad it ended with them both going into jobs that made them happy and they enjoyed. 4/5
