July reads
Hii. It’s me again✨ I really need to start posting these books as soon as I finish them to give a better view lol but hey. Keep in mind these are allll just my opinion!
1. Wild Side by Elise Silver- I think they are my favorite couple so far out of the Rose Hill series. They definitely could have handled things better but they did it the only way they knew with the cards dealt to them. I adored their relationship towards the end and wish they had gotten their vows renewed kinda deal but they were definitely happy and it showed at the end. They are definitely one of those couples that I know would never be on the couples who might get divorced list . I genuinely enjoyed reading this book and didn’t want to put it down at all. I cried, laugh, and smiled so hard my cheeks hurt. Definitely recommend this book and this series. Can’t wait to read the last one.
2. Front Runner by Elsie Silver - also another good read. They aren’t my favorite couple but I do adore their dynamic and learning more about him. I also love their audio book. I’m not actually sure I have a lot to say about this one other then it’s definitely a book I suggested for found family for Stephen plus his sister. I will say to please read the trigger warnings of abuse is a tough subject for you.
3. Their Vicious Darling- Nikki Crowe- I am so bitter about Vane not getting a POV yet and the fact that Cherry is still alive at the end is actually upsetting. It feels like we get one major death each book and I would’ve been perfectly fine with it being her. I do love Hook and Croc but I really realy wish we had Vanes pov instead. I didn’t learn they get their own book so I’m excited to read it. This series is kinda a dud for me. I’m going to finish the last book since I had already bought it but personally wouldn’t suggest this book
4. A False Start- I love herrr. Little miss no nonsense and puts her foot down knowing what she needs and wants. Get it girl. Griffin also broke my heart a bit with everything going on with him going from his addiction to alcohol and his injury. I felt so bad for the man and actually glad he opened up to her. They definitely hit eachother to a t. I adore them as a couple and wish we had seen more. Big recommendation again trigger warning for abuse. It is off page but still mentioned
5. God Of Malice by Rina Kent- this was a reread for me this year. I actually really really love this book and the series itself. Killian is definitely a dark romance book hubby that I adore and I love Glynn. I wish we saw them more in later books but I’m happy with what we got.
