3 things to do in TORONTO 🍜

one of my fav cities to spend time exploring! here’s what i did in toronto over the weekend:

1. STACKD MARKET- where that adorable pink mirror is. it’s a cute little market area downtown made out of shipping containers! super fun to walk around and explore, and there’s lots of cool shops in there, food to try, and even a dog park 🐕

2. RAMEN- in my opinion, toronto has some of the BEST ramen i’ve ever had. there’s so many good spots and hidden gems to try! this time i tried Ramen Isshin on Queen St. W. super good! 🍜

3. THE WELL- a new multi-level shopping center in the heart of downtown. there’s some of our favorite shops like Sephora and Lululemon, and also some cool, unique stores that i had never heard of! always a fun time to walk around and see what’s there. also the market hall on the ground floor is amazing! 🛍️

Toronto

... Read moreHey fellow explorers! Following up on my recent Toronto adventure, I wanted to dive a bit deeper into why these spots really stood out, especially if you're looking for something beyond the usual tourist traps or need ideas for a less-than-sunny day. Toronto has so much vibrancy, and sometimes you just need to know where to peek! First up, that incredible Stackd Market I mentioned. Imagine a whole village built from shipping containers – it’s such a cool, urban vibe! What makes it perfect for a "things to do when it rains" list is how much of it is covered or indoors. You can wander through unique boutiques, grab a coffee, or try different street foods without getting soaked. For teens, this place is a goldmine. The shops often feature indie brands and quirky finds, and let's be real, who doesn't love a good photo op? That famous pink, arched mirror isn't just for an aesthetic selfie; it's part of the whole creative atmosphere that makes Stackd feel like a hidden cultural gem. It's not a museum, but it showcases a different kind of urban artistry and entrepreneurship that's really inspiring. Plus, the food stalls are constantly changing, making it a fantastic spot for "food and drink Toronto" discoveries. Then there's the ramen scene – a true highlight for any food lover. While I absolutely loved Ramen Isshin on Queen St. W., Toronto boasts an incredible array of ramen spots. What makes Isshin special, based on my experience, is the rich, savory broth and perfectly cooked noodles you see in the photos. It’s the kind of comforting, flavorful bowl that instantly warms you up, making it another perfect activity for a chilly or rainy afternoon. If you're looking for authentic Japanese flavors, you really can't go wrong here. For teens, ramen is always a hit – it’s delicious, affordable, and a great social meal. Exploring different ramen styles across the city is a fantastic way to dive into Toronto's diverse culinary landscape. And finally, The Well. This isn't just another generic shopping mall; it's truly a modern, multi-level shopping center that integrates retail, dining, and even residential spaces in a really innovative way. It's completely indoors, making it an ideal destination for "things to do when it rains" or if you're trying to figure out "what to do with teens this weekend." Beyond the well-known stores like Sephora and Lululemon, I found so many interesting, independent shops that felt truly unique. The market hall on the ground floor is a foodie paradise, offering everything from gourmet groceries to quick bites and sit-down meals. It's a fantastic spot to explore different "food and drink Toronto" options under one roof. Whether you're hunting for a specific item, just browsing, or grabbing a bite, The Well offers a vibrant, sheltered space to spend hours. So, next time you're in Toronto, don't let the weather dictate your plans! These spots offer amazing experiences, delicious food, and unique finds, no matter if the sun is shining or if you need a cozy indoor escape. Happy exploring!
