🚨 “You are alahiym…” — But did you read what came
🚨 “You are alahiym…” — But did you read what came next?
📖 Psalm 82:6 is one of the most misused verses in Scripture.
People quote it to elevate themselves…
To claim divinity…
To stand as if they are equal with Alahim.
But the text wasn’t written to glorify man—
It was written to judge him.
This passage is addressing earthly rulers and judges
who were given authority…
yet used it unjustly.
They were called “Alahiym” in the sense of position and responsibility—
not nature.
And what does Alahim say right after?
📖 “But you shall die like men…” (Psalm 82:7)
That’s not elevation.
That’s exposure.
⚠️ The danger is this:
When you take a rebuke
and turn it into a badge of honor…
You don’t rise—
you deceive yourself.
We are not divine.
We are accountable.
We are not equal with Alahim.
We are subject to Him.
Authority was never meant to inflate you—
it was meant to test you.
💭 Brothers and Sisters…
Be careful chasing titles that Scripture used as warnings.
Be careful building identity on verses you didn’t fully read.
Because pride will have you crowned in your own mind…
while standing guilty before the One who gave you breath.
🔥 Truth:
You were never called to be “a alahim.”
You were called to walk in obedience.
And that requires humility… not self-exaltation.
