Sproutling Transplants!
Spent the day planting all of our little baby sprouts into pots or into garden beds! I don't have the exact number but it's more than 350.
Transplanting baby sprouts not only boosts their growth potential but also prepares them for a flourishing garden or farm. Proper handling during transplantation is essential, as seedlings are delicate and require careful care to thrive. It's important to choose the right time for transplanting, usually when the seedlings have developed a few sets of true leaves and the risk of frost has passed. To ensure successful sproutling transplants, make sure to prepare the planting site by enriching the soil with organic matter, which encourages healthy root growth. When planting, dig a hole large enough to accommodate the root ball without bending the roots. Water thoroughly after planting to eliminate air pockets and to help the seedlings settle into their new environment. Regular monitoring for pests and diseases will also help in maintaining a healthy garden, ensuring your investment in over 350 baby sprouts yields a bountiful harvest.
