The Narcissist destroys lives with lies. But it's a loan and it will come back at them with interest.
They think their web of deceit makes them powerful, that their ability to twist reality and manipulate others keeps them in control. They thrive on confusion, betrayal, and broken trust, leaving others to carry the heavy weight of the damage they’ve caused. But what they don’t realize is that every lie they tell, every false story they spread, and every mask they wear is only borrowed time.
Karma doesn’t rush, but it never forgets. Lies may silence the truth for a season, but the truth has a way of resurfacing stronger than before. When it does, it shatters the illusions they built and forces them to face the destruction they created. The people they hurt may take time to heal, but healing always comes. And once those who were broken rise again, they rise stronger, wiser, and untouchable.
The narcissist will eventually be left standing in the ruins of their own deception, paying back every falsehood with loneliness, exposure, and consequences they can no longer escape. The interest on those lies is heavy, and when the bill comes due, it will be far more than they ever imagined.
Because lies may break hearts, homes, and trust — but the truth always collects its debt.
