A Narcissist doesn't change.
No matter how many times you hope, pray, or wish for them to see the damage they cause, the truth is unshakable: they don’t change. Their patterns are deeply ingrained, carefully honed over years, and they operate with a predictable consistency that is both shocking and heartbreaking. They will always find someone else to manipulate, someone who hasn’t yet recognized the subtle, corrosive ways they twist reality, gaslight emotions, and undermine self-worth.
A Narcissist never takes true responsibility. They never offer real apologies. Instead, they expertly redirect blame, casting everyone around them as the problem while they maintain their illusion of innocence and superiority. Every hurtful word, every act of deceit, every betrayal is reframed to make them appear justified, misunderstood, or even wronged themselves. They thrive in this cycle, feeding off the confusion, guilt, and loyalty of those who believe in the potential for change.

And yet, many people find themselves drawn back, believing their love, patience, or guidance can “fix” the unfixable.
