I used to be so scared that I was behind in life.

I didn’t finish school in my early twenties. I graduated at 30.

I moved to Canada with no experience and no idea how I’d start over.

My first opportunity was a 2‑day contract job — and it turned into full‑time because I showed up with discipline, humility, and work ethic. These characteristics and with God in the centre of it all have shaped my journey in the corporate world.

Fast forward to afew weeks ago,I studied for my PMP alone, balancing life, motherhood, and work — and passed on my first attempt.

So no… you’re not late.

You’re not behind.

You’re not disqualified.

You’re becoming.

And your timeline is still valid.

What part of your journey made you feel “late” but didn’t stop you?

I remember reading about someone who graduated at 30 after struggling earlier on, which really resonated with me. Life doesn't always follow a straight path, and sometimes, the detours shape us the most. Starting over in a new country without experience can be incredibly intimidating. However, showing up consistently with humility and a strong work ethic can open unexpected doors, much like turning a simple 2-day contract into a full-time position. It’s a reminder that small opportunities can lead to greater success when met with the right attitude. Balancing multiple roles, such as motherhood and work, while preparing for a challenging certification like the PMP, speaks volumes about resilience and time management. Passing on the first try after self-study not only boosts confidence but also shows that disciplined self-improvement pays off. If you’re feeling like you’re 'behind' because your path looks different from others, remember the powerful message: “You’re not late. You’re becoming.” Each person’s timeline is unique. Embracing this mindset can reduce anxiety and help focus on personal growth rather than comparison. The phrase from the article's image, "If you were looking for a sign that you’re not behind… This Is It!" perfectly encapsulates the encouragement many need. It’s important to acknowledge your progress, no matter how it compares with those around you, and keep trusting the journey. Your patience, faith, and discipline are shaping your future even when it doesn’t seem evident right away.
