A few things life taught me

At 28, I don’t have all the answers. But I’m grateful for the lessons, the mistakes, the people I’ve met, and the person I am becoming. ♥️

Having been through periods of change myself, I've found that protecting your peace often means setting firm boundaries and prioritizing relationships that nurture you. I also relate deeply to the notion that kindness doesn't mean being a pushover. It's a powerful reminder that compassion and self-respect can—and should—coexist. For me, learning to say no without guilt has been one of the most liberating practices, allowing me to conserve emotional energy and foster healthier connections. Another lesson worth sharing is about comparison stealing joy. It’s easy to get caught up feeling behind others, but focusing on personal growth—measuring progress against who you were yesterday—makes all the difference in staying motivated and fulfilled. Starting over can be intimidating, but embracing uncertainty is essential for growth. Moving beyond comfort zones helped me chase the life I wanted even when the right choices felt daunting. Feeling a mix of sadness for what’s left behind and excitement for what lies ahead is normal. Lastly, the reminder that life isn't about perfection—it's about becoming the best version of yourself—has been a guiding light. Celebrating uniqueness and belonging rather than fitting in has empowered me to live authentically and find contentment in my own skin. These lessons, drawn from personal experience, underscore how life’s ups and downs shape us into stronger, kinder, and more resilient individuals.

2025 has been a year of growth and maturity for me. 1. You are not too much. The first lesson came from an incident with a close friend. Everything fell apart out of the blue. It felt like when a friend slowly loses interest in you. I later heard the gist that I was “too much” for him, that I
