Dual purpose wedding flowers
Our gorgeous bride wanted aisle flowers but also wanted them to be repurposed for the reception. It can be tricky to design for dual purpose because aisle flowers are traditionally designed differently but what we had to do is make sure they were designed all the way around and that the flowers were extra hydrated and cared for to not only last through the ceremony but for the reception. I always tell my couples that it is a risk that they might not look at their peak because of the elements and guests going in and out of the aisles. But it does save a huge amount at $350+ a piece. This couple had 6 aisle flowers that then were transported into reception space on tall glass cylinder vases. Wedding flower tip: ask your florist how things can be repurposed, not every item can or should be repurposed but when they can it makes a huge impact and stretches the floral budget, you just have to be ok with them not always being perfect.
