The temple was built to worship 2 main gods:
- Man Tai / Man Cheong: The God of Literature / Wisdom
Make a wish: Studying, exams, education, advancing in a civil service career / a job that requires wisdom.
- Mo Tai / Kwan Tai): God of war / military. Also known as "Guan Wu."
Make a wish: career achievement, courage, protection, justice.
🕯️ How to pay respect
* Prepare incense: Generally 3 incense sticks are used. If convenient, buy a set of offerings from the temple.
* Light the big candle / incense: Light the incense and worship at the central incense burner first.
* Main blessings: Wai for blessings at the Lord (left-hand) and the Lord (right-hand) emphasize blessings to be clear.
* Waiting for other gods: Waiting at various points in the temple for additional blessings.
* Burn Chao Paper: Put the prepared paper in a cart or spot provided by the temple.
Highlight: Red Spiral Band Incense, Large Hanging on the Ceiling, These Incense Gradually Burns and Sends Prayer Ascending to Heaven
In addition, in Lit Shing Kung (another building in the temple area), other gods such as Kwun Yum are worshipped.
