Sometimes my heart gets stuck in 2012.
In my mind, I’m still rocking you to sleep, tracing your tiny fingers, memorizing every little yawn, wishing time would slow down just a little.
But somehow it’s 2026… and you’re getting ready to walk through the doors of high school.
No one warns you that motherhood is living in two timelines at once. One where your baby still fits perfectly in your arms, and one where she’s growing into the incredible young woman she was always meant to be.
I’ll always miss the little girl you were, but I’m so proud of the girl you’ve become.
Forever my baby. 🤍
