Wasn’t expecting this on my evening row! The helicopters were using the Tiber to collect water for the fires in Rome. I genuinely thought they were about to soak me with how much mist was coming off the bucket. Hoping everyone affected by the fires is safe ❤️ #livinginitaly #tiberriver

The Tiber River is one of my favorite places in Rome during the summer 😍 Most visitors only see it from the bridges, but there’s so much happening on the water. Rowing clubs, dinner cruises, jazz boats, riverside restaurants, and even pop-up bars all come alive once the sun starts to set. #t

Is Trenitalia Executive Class worth €130? 🇮🇹 I finally tried Executive Class from Rome to Naples after my last Trenitalia review went viral. The lounge, the open bar, the à la carte menu, and yes… they actually had Prosecco 🥂 So… would you spend €130, or would you save the money and book S

So many of my friends work in restaurants here in Rome. I’ve seen firsthand what the industry is like. Restaurant prices in Italy are kept relatively affordable so locals can continue going out to eat. And restaurant margins are often much tighter than many visitors realize. That also means s

This is one of my favourite things about living in Italy. I stopped into my jeweller’s shop, his butcher happened to be there, and five minutes later I was getting a personal tour of Trionfale Market. He introduced me to his favourite produce vendors, deli counters, and showed me exactly where h

If you’re looking for something to do besides eating pizza (although you should definitely do plenty of that too 😂), this was one of my favourite experiences in Naples. Swimming in the Bay of Naples, sipping Prosecco while the sun set over the coastline, and seeing the city from the water was th

And did I tell you they brought us coffee too? 🥹❤️ One of my favourite things about travelling in Italy is that little luxuries don’t always come with a luxury price tag. Danielle and I decided to put this €15 blowout to the test and think it was one of the best value experiences we had in Na

My first few hours in Naples couldn’t have started any better. 🍕 Sitting outside on Via dei Tribunali, trying some of Naples’ most iconic dishes, and soaking up the atmosphere was the perfect welcome to the city. Thank you to Gino Sorbillo and the team at Presepe Napoletano for such an incred

I love travelling by train in Italy, but not every upgrade is worth paying for. After taking Italo Club Executive multiple times, I honestly don’t think it offers enough over Business Class to justify the extra cost. If you’re travelling with Italo, I’d save the money and book Business instea

One thing I've learned after living in Rome? The wrong shoes can ruin your trip. That's why I'm always testing brands I think you'll actually enjoy wearing while exploring Italy. These were my first impressions of Ballerette. And after surviving Rome's cobblestones, they're off to a pretty go

If you’ve already been to the Vatican Museums (or you’re dreading the crowds) this is one of my favourite ways to experience Vatican City. The gardens are peaceful, beautiful, and give you a completely different perspective of the Vatican before your museum visit even begins. Plus, the tour i

It’s experiences like these that remind me how international Rome really is. You can spend one evening surrounded by diplomats, military bands, and people from all over the world, all in one of the city’s most beautiful villas. A huge thank you to my friend Sandra for inviting me. It was such a

Benheart invited us from Rome to Florence for an incredible evening celebrating Italian craftsmanship - complete with a fashion show and the chance to meet the amazing people behind the brand. The coolest part for me? The event took place at the rowing club in Florence, so for one night, my work

Every year on the Feast of Saints Peter and Paul, Rome lights up the sky over Castel Sant’Angelo Tonight, we got to watch it from the Tiber! Easily my favourite seat in the city. Happy Feast of Saints Peter & Paul, Rome 🤍

After my last Italian restaurant review, the comments were flooded with one recommendation: “You have to try Nodo.” So we did. One of the things that stood out to me most was meeting Chef Maurizio, who’s actually from Italy. Between the fresh pasta, house-made gelato, and menu inspired by
