What Dressing My Body Size Has Taught Me

We won’t always have the body we want overnight especially if you losing some weight is your goal, but we can learn to love and dress the body we currently have until we achieve our desired body size.

Personally, I decided to dress my body size and these are some things I’ve learnt;

1. Wearing baggy clothes, hides nothing!

2. Black is not the only colour you can wear for a slimmer appearance.

3. Understanding Your Body Type is a game changer.

4. Invest in quality shape wear, they make a world of difference.

5. It is not about what you wear but how you wear it!

6. Confidence will make any outfit look good.

... Read moreIn today's fashion world, understanding how to dress for your body type can transform your confidence and aesthetic appeal. Many believe that wearing baggy clothing will conceal flaws, but often, it only accentuates them. Instead, learning about your unique body shape allows you to select clothing that highlights your best features. Moreover, while black is traditionally worn for a slimming effect, colors like navy, deep greens, and rich burgundies can also provide that desired look without sacrificing individuality. Investing in quality shapewear is also crucial; it can significantly enhance how an outfit looks on your body, offering support and a seamless silhouette. Ultimately, confidence is key in fashion; when you feel good in what you wear, it shows. Explore various styles and embrace your own body image by focusing on the fit and how you carry your outfits. For more insights on mid-size fashion and styling tips, connecting with communities embracing body positivity can be incredibly empowering.
