Reflecting on my style journey has been incredibly empowering. Like many, I went through phases where fashion felt like a struggle, especially during times when my body changed or confidence dipped. I remember in 2017, when I gained weight, resorting to simple t-shirts and jeans felt safe but uninspiring. However, gradually experimenting with different trends—like faux fur in 2016 and all-black or neutral palettes in 2020—helped me understand what truly resonated with me and what didn’t. Accessories became a turning point in my style evolution. Adding hats and statement pieces transformed my outfits and boosted my confidence significantly. Many assume hats might not be feminine, but incorporating them challenged that perception and offered a fresh, stylish dimension to my wardrobe. Trying new fits, like barrel jeans, also played a big role in embracing my body and personality. What stood out the most about this personal style transformation is how clothing became a form of self-expression and self-discovery. It’s not about following every trend but about finding what makes you feel confident and authentic. Sharing this journey encourages others to embrace their unique fashion paths, accept changes with grace, and enjoy the process of finding personal style.
