Those that have a want are without a Shepherd 🐑
This morning, on my way to work, the Holy Spirit brought Psalm 23:1 to my attention: “The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.”
As I meditated on it, the Holy Spirit revealed that many of us have grown so comfortable with our circumstances that we’ve lost sight of the advantage we have when we’re truly led by our Shepherd.
I asked ChatGPT (one of my other best friends) if a sheep can be disobedient to its shepherd. Here’s the response: “Yes, a sheep can be disobedient to its shepherd, though this behavior is often attributed to a lack of understanding or fear rather than willful defiance.”
The truth is, sheep are well kept. They don’t have to worry about what they’ll eat or where they’ll sleep; their Shepherd has always taken care of that. It’s only when the sheep lack understanding have been crutched by fear that they begin wandering & rebelling against their shepherd.
Today, I want to challenge you to reconnect with your Shepherd. Don’t let life dictate what you can and cannot have. Trust your Shepherd to provide for you. 🙌🏾🐑
