• 1/2 tsp baking soda
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder
• 1/2 tsp onion powder
• 1 cup shredded sharp cheddar cheese
• 3 tbsp cold butter, grated
• 2–3 tbsp milk (if needed)
Garlic Butter Topping
• 2 tbsp melted butter
• 1/2 tsp garlic powder

2. Add grated cold butter and mix with a fork or your fingers until crumbly.
3. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese.
4. Add sourdough discard and mix until a thick dough forms. If the dough feels too dry add 1–2 tbsp milk.
5. Scoop dough into biscuit sized portions and place on parchment paper or air fryer liner.
6. Preheat air fryer to 350°F.
7. Air fry biscuits for 8–10 minutes until the tops are golden and the centers are cooked through.
8. Mix melted butter, garlic powder, parsley, and salt. Brush over the hot biscuits immediately after cooking.
Serve warm.
Personal Tips
• Use freshly shredded cheese instead of pre shredded. It melts much better.
• Grating the butter makes the biscuits extra flaky and helps it distribute evenly.
• If your sourdough discard is very thick add a splash of milk to loosen the dough.
