CRISPY Air Fryer Smash Burger Tacos 🍔

Crispy smashed beef on a tortilla with melty cheese and that classic In-N-Out style sauce

Ingredients

Tacos:

• 1 lb ground beef

• 4 small flour tortillas

• Salt

• Black pepper

• 4 slices American cheese

• Shredded lettuce

• Diced tomatoes

• Sliced pickles

In-N-Out Style Sauce:

• 1/2 cup mayo

• 2 tbsp ketchup

• 1 tbsp sweet relish

• 1/2 tsp vinegar

• 1/2 tsp sugar

• 1/2 tsp onion powder

• 1/2 tsp garlic powder

Instructions

1. Make the sauce

Mix all sauce ingredients together and set aside in the fridge.

2. Prep the tacos

Divide ground beef into 4 equal portions.

Press each portion thinly onto a tortilla, covering most of the surface.

3. Season

Season the beef side with salt and pepper.

4. Preheat air fryer

Preheat to 400°F.

5. Cook

Place tacos beef side up in the air fryer basket.

Air fry for 5–6 minutes.

6. Add cheese

Flip the tacos so the tortilla side is down.

Add cheese on top of the beef and air fry another 1–2 minutes until melted and edges are crispy.

7. Assemble

Remove from air fryer and top with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and drizzle with the In-N-Out style sauce.

Fold and serve immediately.

Personal Tips

• Press the beef very thin so it cooks fast and gets that smash burger texture.

• Don’t overcrowd the air fryer or the tortillas won’t crisp properly.
