We have grown sooo much since this day last year

Looking back over the past year, I've realized just how much change can happen when you give yourself the space and time to grow both mentally and physically. It’s not always easy to embrace these changes, especially when they come with ups and downs like fluctuating weight and shifting moods. But acknowledging the 'pounds' gained or lost and the mental hurdles crossed is part of understanding one’s own journey. For me, mental growth meant facing everyday challenges with more resilience—learning to laugh at the tough times and not being too hard on myself when things didn’t go as planned. Physically, those 'pounds' became a symbol of the effort and changes my body went through, whether from new habits, stress, or simply life’s unpredictable rhythms. What really helped was focusing on small wins and self-care routines that boosted my confidence and wellbeing. Simple activities like walking daily, mindful breathing, or journaling about my feelings were game changers. Sharing these experiences openly has reminded me and hopefully others that growth is not just about perfection but about persistence and kindness to ourselves.
