Where can the painter make money? How do you start?🤔
Hello, following the previous post...After announcing that he would start a painter's life at the age of 38, the next question that quickly came to mind was:.."How are we going to make money from it now?" 😅 (Because, as I said, life is nothing, just drawing 555)
So today I went to do my homework, gathered information about how the art line earned money, plus a little experience, so I wanted to share it as a guide for myself and my friends who were just starting out!
1. Commission drawing This is the most classic and straightforward drawing is the customer drawing hire. I personally like to draw cute little Chibi, I think I will try to port and open up to this style. Who is good at drawing? Try to tap into the market of people who like our style.
2. Selling Digital Products This is a passive income income line. Do it once and for a while. Whether it's making stickers for sale (this one I have some experience with is fun), making a brush in the drawing program for sale, or E-book line for sale on various platforms is a very interesting choice.
3. Get Freelance Projects, move the scale a little bigger, such as drawing children's books, designing mascot caractors for brands, or illustrating advertising materials. These jobs may need a tighter portfolio, but the revenue will be more substantial.
4. Content Creator is what I'm trying to do! 😤 Sharing behind the scenes, sharing drawing techniques (I use Clip Studio Paint primarily), or telling stories of the painter's life to create their own space. If one day there are more followers, you can get a sponsor job.
How to start? For me, I think it's going to start with "what we're best at," make a beautiful portfolio, post it often to social media, let people see a lot of work, and then gradually expand to try other channels.
