I bought it because I was attracted by the title, but it was very interesting as incidents and mysteries came out one after another. I liked the ending at the end very much with a chilling ending!

モキュメンタリーホラーというジャンルならではの、現実と虚構が入り混じるストーリー展開が非常に印象的でした。私自身もこの作品を読んでから、山梨の旧家にまつわる怖い話や伝承に興味を持つようになりました。主人公の杉田佑季の視点で進む撮影現場の様子はまるで現場にいるかのような臨場感があり、怪談好きのAD・阿南がフィクションと現実の謎の共通点に気づく描写は、読者も一緒に謎解きをしている気分になります。 また、物語の中で描かれる「十二歳で命を落とす呪い」というテーマは単なるホラーストーリーにとどまらず、旧家の歴史や住民の因習、そして人間心理の闇にも触れていて、ただ恐怖を味わうだけでなく考えさせられる内容でした。私の場合、読み進めるごとに緊張感が高まり、終盤の暗いカタルシスには背筋が凍る思いをしました。 さらに、作品を読んだ後にホラー映画や怪談話を観たり聞いたりするときの見方が変わり、より深く楽しめるようになったのも個人的な収穫です。ゴーストストーリーに興味がある方や、山梨の風土・歴史を題材にしたホラーを探している人には、ぜひお すすめしたい一冊です。鬼気迫る描写と切なさが同居した矢樹純の世界観に触れて、あなたも怖いけど惹きつけられる読書体験をぜひ味わってみてください。
