Crispy Hot Honey Chicken Sliders

These crispy hot honey chicken sliders are honestly one of my favorite comfort food recipes right now. The chicken is super juicy inside, extra crispy outside, and coated in sweet spicy hot honey. The buttery brioche buns make them taste just like restaurant sliders at home.

If you love crispy chicken sandwiches, you need to try this recipe. It’s simple, beginner friendly, and perfect for parties, family dinners, or weekend cravings.

CRISPY HOT HONEY CHICKEN SLIDERS

MARINADE

• 6 chicken tenders (or slider-size chicken breast)

• 1 cup buttermilk

• 2 tbsp pickle juice

• 1 tsp salt

• ½ tsp black pepper

• ½ tsp paprika

• ½ tsp garlic powder

Mix everything together. Add chicken and coat well.

Cover and marinate at least 1 hour (overnight is best).

CRISPY COATING

• 1 cup all-purpose flour

• ½ cup cornstarch

• 1 tsp salt

• 1 tsp paprika

• ½ tsp garlic powder

• ½ tsp onion powder

• Optional: pinch cayenne

COATING METHOD

1. Remove chicken from marinade (don’t shake dry).

2. Drop into flour mix.

3. Press firmly and squeeze flour onto chicken for extra crunch.

FRYING

• Neutral oil (canola or vegetable)

• 175–180°C / 350°F

• Fry 4–5 minutes until deep golden

• Rest on a rack (not paper towel)

HOT HONEY

• ½ cup honey

• 2–3 tbsp hot sauce

• 1 tbsp butter

• Optional chili flakes

Warm on LOW heat only. Do not boil.

Brush or drizzle lightly over chicken.

CREAMY SAUCE

• 3 tbsp mayonnaise

• 2 tbsp greek yogurt

• 3 tbsp water

Mix until smooth.

ASSEMBLY

Brioche bun → mayo → pickles → crispy chicken → hot honey → top bun
