My fav use of Apple’s new iOS 18 feature! 🌸
I love the new Clean Up tool that came with the new iOS 18 update! I hate when a picture is cute but maybe my lace is not laid 😂 Now, I don’t have to worry about using other apps to do this! This feature is only available on 15pro or newer, iPads and Mac’s with a M series chip and new iPad mini. 🤓#beauty #gluelesswig #editing #photoediting #iphone
Okay, so I just had to share more about why Apple's new iOS 18 Clean Up tool has completely transformed my photo editing game! Seriously, if you're anything like me and constantly striving for that perfect shot – whether it's for your Lemon8 feed or just a cherished memory – this feature is an absolute lifesaver. I know I mentioned fixing my wig lace, but that's just the tip of the iceberg! Think about it: how many times have you taken an otherwise stunning photo, only to find a random passerby in the background, an unsightly trash can, or even a stray hair ruining the vibe? Before iOS 18, I'd either spend ages trying to meticulously remove it with a third-party app (which often left weird smudges) or just give up on the photo entirely. Now, with the built-in Clean Up tool, it’s literally just a few taps away from perfection. Here’s how I use it for more than just hair: First, I open my photo in the Photos app. Then, I tap 'Edit,' and right there, usually next to options like 'Adjust' or 'Crop,' you'll find the magic 'Clean Up' button. It's so intuitive! You just draw over the object you want to disappear, and poof – it's gone. Sometimes, I have to go over an area twice for a really clean finish, but the results are usually seamless. I’ve even used it to get rid of minor skin blemishes or distracting wires in the background of my home decor shots. It's much faster than fiddling with complex 'Portrait' modes or 'Styles' in other apps when all I need is a simple removal. One of my favorite hacks is using Clean Up to declutter busy backgrounds. Say I’m taking a selfie in a coffee shop, and there’s a random napkin or an awkward sign behind me. A quick brush with the Clean Up tool, and my photo instantly looks more professional and aesthetically pleasing. It truly feels like having a professional editor in my pocket! Once I’m happy with the changes, I just tap 'Done' and save my masterpiece. If I ever mess up, there’s always the 'RESET' option, which is super reassuring. And a quick reminder for those wondering if they can get in on this magic: This incredible feature is currently available on iPhone 15 Pro models and newer, as well as iPads and Macs equipped with an M-series chip, and the new iPad mini. So, if you’ve got one of these devices, you absolutely have to try it out. It saves so much time and effort, letting me focus more on capturing the moment rather than stressing about post-production. It's honestly one of the best 'cleaning updates' Apple has given us for our photos in a long time, making photo editing on iOS truly next level. It’s made my Lemon8 content creation so much smoother, allowing me to share high-quality visuals without the extra hassle. Give it a go and tell me what you think!
