A shield is also your best friend for blocking those pesky shulker bullets if you accidentally get hit by them later, or just general damage reduction. For weapons, a diamond or netherite sword with Smite V is incredibly effective against the dragon. It's an undead mob, so Smite does extra damage. A good bow with Infinity or Mending and Power V is essential for taking out the crystals and hitting the dragon when it's flying. Don't forget a stack or two of arrows! Next up, potions! These are literal lifesavers. Slow Falling potions are non-negotiable – they'll save you from falling to your death if the dragon knocks you high into the air. Strength II potions can dramatically speed up the fight, and a few instant healing potions or regeneration potions are great for topping up health on the fly. And for food? Always pack plenty of cooked steak or porkchops for quick healing. Finally, bring at least two stacks of a cheap block like cobblestone or dirt for building up to the crystals. When you finally enter The End, take a deep breath. Your first priority is destroying those Ender Crystals. Some are exposed, making them easy targets for your bow. Others are caged, requiring you to pillar up to them. Be super careful with your positioning here! The dragon will try to knock you off, so always keep an eye on it. Once all the crystals are down, the real fun begins! This is where the Bedrock edition strategy really shines. When the Ender Dragon swoops down to perch on the central portal, that's your chance to unleash massive damage with beds! Yes, beds! Place a bed right next to the dragon and quickly right-click it to detonate it. The explosion deals huge damage to the dragon, but it also hurts you, so make sure you're behind a few blocks or have good blast protection. Just be mindful of your position relative to the bed and the dragon to avoid taking too much self-damage. Repeat this every time it perches. Between perches, keep shooting it with your bow and hit it with your Smite sword when it's close enough. Keep an eye on your inventory for quick access to potions and food. It's a chaotic fight, but staying calm and sticking to your strategy will get you through. Watch out for its purple dragon's breath attacks – try to avoid standing in them. Use your Slow Falling potions if you get launched. Once you deliver that final hit and watch it explode, the feeling of accomplishment, especially in Hardcore, is just incredible!
