storytime on what happened before i left SQ ✈️
caught a snippet of my convo with one of the cutest ifm on board ☺️
anyways it’s been 5 years ish since i’ve clipped my wings as a stewardesss but i’ll always be super proud for even having the chance to serve on singapore airlines!! truly a great way to fly both as a crew and passenger ✈️
should i share more of my crew stories? 🫣
Looking back on my time as a Singapore Airlines stewardess, I realize how unique and challenging the experience was, especially during the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic. Just before I left SQ, I was supposed to undergo business class (J class) training, which was abruptly halted due to lockdowns and the closure of the training center. Instead, I spent about a year flying economy (EY), gaining valuable in-flight experience despite the difficult circumstances. One thing that stood out was how the pandemic impacted training schedules and career progression. I remember conversations with fellow crew members joking about looking young while actually carrying the weight of paused ambitions. Starting my journey at 19 and now being 26, it’s incredible to reflect on how much life and work have shaped me. Serving on Singapore Airlines was more than a job; it was a privilege to be part of a world-class airline known for excellence in service and hospitality. The camaraderie among cabin crew, the thrill of flying to diverse destinations, and the chance to interact with passengers from all walks of life created memories I’ll always cherish. If you’re curious about cabin crew life, especially at a prestigious airline like Singapore Airlines, I’d love to share more stories—from training challenges to unforgettable flights and heartfelt passenger interactions. Whether you dream of becoming a flight attendant or just want a behind-the-scenes glimpse of aviation life, these tales reveal the highs, lows, and everything in between that make this career so rewarding.
