India is complicated, has a long history, an infinite amount of stories, and can be very overwhelming.
I visited a part of India I’ve never seen before and I knew I had to do and see as much as I possible could, which meant waking up early and going to sleep late.
Trying to understand India makes no sense, you kinda have to just go with the flow.

During my travels in Rajasthan, I realized that the real essence of India lies in its diverse experiences beyond the typical tourist attractions. For instance, venturing into Asia’s largest marble market in Kishangarh gave me insight into the local economy and craftsmanship. Walking around local neighborhoods until my feet ached allowed me to soak up the true atmosphere, meet welcoming locals, and witness daily life up close. One of the most memorable moments was visiting the Brahma Temple in Pushkar, one of India’s holiest sites. The spiritual energy and intricate artwork made the visit unforgettable. I also enjoyed sampling local street food and dining at quaint cafes like the Nirvana Rooftop Tibetan Kitchen, where the friendly staff and flavorsome dishes offered a perfect pause after long days of exploration. What I learned is that India is a vibrant melting pot of cultures, faiths, and histories that can feel chaotic but is deeply enriching. Traveling here means embracing unpredictability and opening yourself to unique experiences that you won’t find in travel guides. Whether it’s ancient roads traveled by ancestors or modern markets bustling with activity, each step reveals another layer of India’s fascinating story. If you’re planning to visit, try to balance well-known sights with some hidden or less-touristy spots. Taking time to interact with locals, trying homemade dishes, and wandering around markets will help you see a real side of India that many miss. This approach makes the trip more meaningful and gives you stories to cherish forever.
