✨Snack time✨
Let me get real with you for a second my love for this started at my first job where at McDonald’s when they came out with them on yogurt parfait cups fast-forward 10-15 years I still might go to my favorite grocery store. Giant makes them fresh in the morning so if I can get up and get out, I definitely grab two everybody know yogurt Has good stuff for us as women the granola and the protein just helps. Keep you a little bit fuller, and quite frankly, I won’t lie. I probably will get a doughnut after this, but try to eat a little bit more healthy baby steps.🥰😂😫

Okay, so like I mentioned, my strawberry yogurt and granola parfait is my absolute go-to for a quick snack time, especially when I need something satisfying but also want to feel a little healthy. But let's be real, sometimes you want to mix it up, right? Or maybe you're just not a big yogurt fan, or you're looking for different ways to enjoy that delicious crunch! I've definitely experimented over the years because, let's face it, granola is just too good to limit to one pairing. So, if you're like me and wondering what else to eat with granola besides yogurt, I've got some ideas that I've tried and loved for my snack time. One of my absolute favorites for a refreshing snack or even a light breakfast is adding granola to a smoothie bowl. It's still creamy, but you get to play with so many fruit combos! Think a blended banana, berry, and spinach base, topped with fresh fruit, a drizzle of honey, and a generous sprinkle of your favorite granola. The crunch against the smooth texture is just chef's kiss and makes for a really satisfying snack time. Another super simple hack for a quick snack is pairing granola with just fruit. Sliced apples with peanut butter and granola are surprisingly filling and so good. Or a banana, sliced lengthwise, with a dollop of almond butter and a sprinkle of granola? So easy and hits that sweet and crunchy craving without needing yogurt. Sometimes I'll just chop up a mango or some peaches and throw granola on top for an extra layer of texture. It's perfect for when you're on the go and need a quick snack. If you're looking for something with a bit more protein but still want to avoid yogurt, cottage cheese is a fantastic option. I know, I know, some people are iffy about it, but hear me out! A scoop of cottage cheese with some fresh berries and a sprinkle of granola is a surprisingly delicious and super satisfying snack. The savory tang of the cottage cheese complements the sweetness of the fruit and the crunch of the granola beautifully. And for those cozy mornings or a comforting afternoon snack, don't forget about using granola as a topping for your oatmeal or porridge. It adds an amazing textural contrast and a boost of flavor. I love making a warm bowl of apple cinnamon oatmeal and then loading it up with granola, some nuts, and a touch more cinnamon. It feels indulgent but is actually really wholesome for a snack time treat. Beyond just sprinkling, you can also get creative and use granola in baking! Think about making granola bars at home (so much healthier than store-bought sometimes!) or even just adding it to muffin mixes for an extra crunch. I've even seen people press granola into the base of no-bake cheesecakes or energy balls. It's a great way to incorporate that wholesome graininess into something a bit more dessert-like, but still relatively healthy for a delicious snack. So while my heart will always have a special place for strawberry yogurt and granola, there are so many other delicious ways to enjoy this versatile ingredient. Don't be afraid to experiment and find your next favorite granola snack time! What are your go-to non-yogurt granola pairings?
