The invalid man in John 5:8 waited for decades by the waters. His choice was to wait, and the consequence was time — years of waiting. Could he have done something different before Jesus came at that time? Maybe not. But Jesus has already come — and because of that, we don’t have to wait decades to rise, pick up our mat, and walk toward what God is calling us to do.

That doesn’t mean healing always happens overnight. But the Bible is clear that there is much we can do while we wait.

We can:

✨ Rejoice always

🙏 Pray without ceasing

🤍 Give thanks in all circumstances

(1 Thessalonians 5:16–18)

Are we doing that — or are we complaining?

I’ve been guilty of complaining myself. But this year, I’m choosing differently. I’m picking up my mat and walking, because Jesus already gave the instruction to do so.

I’m choosing to walk with faith-filled intention — in His Word and in His ways. And I believe He will bless my day… I also believe that if you do the same, He will bless yours too.

With what you may ask? How about peace that surpasses understanding? How about joy? How about strength? Those are blessings no money can buy!
