🔹 The Labour Relations Board (the Metropolitan) ruled that "unfair dismissal" ordered it to take back + pay back damages.

🔹, the employer asks for a "deduction" of the compensation paid and the damages paid.

🔹 Employee refuses → Case goes to court

What did the Supreme Court decide?

✅, when ordered back, it was deemed that "no termination had ever occurred" in the first place.

✅ When there is no dismissal →, the employee is not entitled to compensation.

✅ Employers are legally entitled to deduct both debts (Pr. 341).

✅ The employer won the case.
