The Two Journeys A Journey of Life, Love, and Devotion to the Arts
"The Two Journeys: On Faith and Life Devotion," an exhibition that turns the journey of life, love and devotion to art into a long-standing, timeless memoir by Innab Wongkong and Venetia Walkey, curated by Silk Wongdee.
This exhibition invites us to look back at the life path of Innabhan Wongkthird, an artist who travelled on a Lambretta scooter in the footsteps of Art Pyrrzri, a master who was a major inspiration; that journey was not only crossing geographical borders, but also seeking the meaning of life, art, and the identity of being an artist.
However, the "journey" that this exhibition wants to talk about is not on the road or the map, but a journey within the mind, through faith in the arts, inspiring teachers and lovers of life partners like Venezia Walkkey, who co-created and co-founded the Innab Gallery, Wongkong Three and Dharma Park, Lampoon Province.
Inside the exhibition are over 150 works of painting, prints, line-drawing and sculpture. Venezia's works are set up as the heart of the space, conveying stories from love, relationships, suffering, moral pursuits to awakening, while Innab's works reveal the power of creation that continues even as a 92-year-old through both old works, new works and the "Inson's Code" series, an alphabet system he developed to bring the teachings of his beloved teacher into a new way.
Another key highlight is the series of works, "Canopy, Shining," that emerged from the simple but profound love story between Innab and Venezia to become an important series of sculptures reflecting the two's long-standing bond.
And explore the dialogue between love, memory, and faith that never disappears through the work of artists whose lives have been dedicated to art in the exhibition "The Two Journeys: On Faith and Life Devotion."
