Did you know there’s a hidden tropical escape right in Mission Valley? 🌴✨

@towncountrysd Resort has the perfect location, with all the best of San Diego just 10–15 minutes away. Beaches, Balboa Park, SeaWorld, Fashion Valley mall, and even Downtown are a short drive from your room. What surprised me most were all of the fun and free things you can do at the resort. There’s line dancing, a live DJ by the pool, and even dive-in movies under the stars. We honestly hadn’t expected to love the line dancing so much, but now we’re obsessed! The interior of the space adds this charming, retro feeling that’s a perfect match for Town and Country’s rich history. It was the first hotel in Mission Valley back in the 1950s, but it’s gotten a glow up since then.

Places to eat at Town and Country that I recommend:

ARLO - great spot for breakfast

Lapper Sports Bar + Kitchen - we loved their cocktails and pizza

MRKT - went here for coffee + ice cream

Monkeybar- great options for happy hour

If you’re planning a getaway from home or you’re flying in from somewhere else, Town and Country is a hidden gem that feels a world away while keeping you close to all of the action.
