The festival truly lives up to its reputation as the largest Asian food festival in the area, featuring over 80 vendors with more than 200 street food options. From delicious dumplings and savory skewers to mouthwatering desserts and refreshing drinks, there’s something to tempt every palate. One thing I found especially useful was buying tickets online in advance. Online tickets start at just $15, which is cheaper than at the door, and kids under 6 get in free. Each ticket also comes with a fun panda pin and headband, making a great souvenir. For those wanting a VIP experience, the fast entry and access to private areas can be worth it. Timing your visit is crucial. The festival gets very busy, especially later in the day, so I recommend arriving early—when the gates open at 10am—to avoid crowds and enjoy quieter lines at food stalls. Waterfront Park fills up quickly and parking nearby can be a challenge. Regarding parking, if you’re driving, your best bet is the Waterfront Parking lot on B Street Pier, which operates 24 hours but can be pricey at around $20 for a few hours. The lot at 1600 Pacific Hwy or B Street Pier Parking Garage are options but expect them to fill up early. Because of this, rideshare or public transit is highly recommended for convenience. While roaming through the festival, be sure to check out the live performances and photo ops to capture your memories.
