somtimes resting in God isnt always easy for me
Many of us have experienced moments when trusting in Godās plan feels incredibly difficult, especially during periods of hardship. Iāve personally found that anxiety and worry often creep in when lifeās uncertainties weigh heavily on my heart. For example, this past year I faced job loss, which brought a lot of fear about the future. However, turning to scripture, especially Matthew 6:25-34, was a source of profound comfort. The verses remind us not to worry about daily needs like food and clothing because God, our Heavenly Father, knows what we truly need and will provide. This passage helped shift my focus away from anxiety toward seeking Godās kingdom first and trusting that everything else would fall into place. Resting in God isnāt always easy; itās a daily challenge that requires intentional faith and prayer. Whatās helped me is memorizing these verses and reflecting on them whenever worry starts to overwhelm me. Itās like God gently reassures us through His word that we donāt have to carry the weight alone. Also, sharing these struggles with a faith community or praying with loved ones can create a supportive environment that eases the burden. Another key lesson I learned is to be kind to myself during tough seasons. Sometimes resting in God means allowing ourselves space to feel overwhelmed while still leaning on His promises. Itās not about perfection in faith but perseverance through the struggle. If youāre finding it hard to rest in God right now, know that youāre not alone. Prayer, scripture, and community can provide strength. Remember that Godās love remains constant even when our circumstances are not. Keep seeking His kingdom, and trust that Heās working behind the scenes in ways we might not yet see. These experiences can ultimately deepen your faith and bring peace that surpasses understanding.
