Many Know the Verses, But Few Know Why

Many know that the first ten verses of Surah Kahf protect from Dajjal — but few understand why.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whoever memorises the first ten verses of Surah Kahf will be saved from the trial of Dajjal.”

(Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 809)

There are narrations mentioning both the first ten and the last ten verses — both recorded by Imam Muslim (Hadith 1880, 1881).

As a precaution, scholars encourage reciting and memorising both sets.

In Musnad Ahmad (vol. 3, pg. 439), it is narrated that whoever recites the beginning and end of Surah Kahf will be granted light (nūr) from their feet up to the sky.

✨ Recite them this Friday — and let every verse be a shield and a light for your heart.

... Read moreIn addition to the well-known protection offered by the first and last ten verses of Surah Kahf, many find that consistent recitation strengthens their focus and spiritual resilience. Reflecting on these verses each Friday has become a treasured practice among believers, providing both comfort and a sense of preparedness against trials. Moreover, scholars emphasize the light (nūr) granted from feet to sky for those who recite these portions, illustrating a deep spiritual illumination that extends throughout one’s being. This isn’t just protection from external difficulties but a source of inner peace and enlightenment. Some also find that memorizing these verses improves memory and mindfulness, connecting their minds to divine guidance in daily life. Incorporating the recitation into your weekly routine can be a purposeful way to enhance spiritual awareness and shield your heart and mind from the metaphorical ‘red carpet for Dajjal.’ Remember, the significance of Surah Kahf goes beyond mere memorization; engaging with its meanings and making it a part of your spiritual journey enriches both faith and personal growth. Taking time to listen to renowned recitations, like that of Omar Hisham Al Arabi, can deepen this experience and inspire heartfelt reflection.

Animal blood sacrifices in the Old testament is not historical
We see in many places such as Hosea 6:6 and Psalm 40:6 that God rather have mercy, and Isaiah 43:25, Micah 7:18, Isaiah 55:6-7 and many places that God doesn't require blood sacrifices for forgiveness. This would place Exodus 20:24 as a contradiction during the time of moses. But did God actual
