How I Changed My Life In 9 Months 🫶
Let’s talk real life growth. July 2024 was a turning point for me. After years of breaking myself down in a toxic five-year relationship with my daughter’s father, I finally made the choice to walk away for good. It wasn’t easy—but it was necessary. I had hit my limit and knew if I didn’t boss up for myself and my daughter, I’d stay stuck in a cycle that was draining me emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.
So I did it. I left. I closed that chapter and started rebuilding from the inside out. I bought a home. I created a peaceful space. I got back to my spirituality—started meditating again, journaling every morning, and using affirmations that reminded me who I am. I reconnected with the version of me I lost during the chaos. I dug deeper inward to understand the “why’s” I was feeling. Slowly but surely, I began to heal.
Then life tested me—hard.
Within one month, my car was stolen and another was totaled right by my job. That was the moment I realized I didn’t just need to walk away from toxic people… I needed to walk away from toxic environments too. That job had me drained, unsafe, and uninspired. So I left. No backup plan—just faith, purpose, and the promise that I deserved better. And since then? I’ve never felt more aligned.
I’m not saying it’s been easy. But living and working on my time, choosing peace every day, and trusting the process—even on the hard days—has brought a level of happiness I didn’t think was possible.
So if you’re a single mom trying to figure it out, a woman stuck in a cycle, or someone at the start of your healing journey—this is your sign:
Start focusing more on yourself and less on the noise around you. People will always have opinions. Life will throw you curveballs. But you have to learn to quiet the world and listen to you.
Stop waiting for things to get better.
Start becoming better.
Say yes to yourself, even if it means saying no to everything you thought you needed.
Bossing up doesn’t always look like luxury and soft life vibes—it looks like crying through breakthroughs, choosing growth over comfort, and deciding every day that you deserve more.
You can rebuild.
You will heal.
And I promise: there is magic in choosing you ✨

I am just restarting after ten year relationship that left me no friends or life outside of him. Can't wait to get to my old boss self!
