MY HIGHEST MILEAGE WEEK IN 6 MONTHS 🥹🌸

+ got my first 5k since I restarted my running journey and it feels SO good. I can tell that the muscle memory is starting to kick in, my lungs are finally recovering from my infection and I’m starting to feel “the groove”.

I’m still using @runna and am loving it honestly! I know for people that will see these numbers may be like ??? That’s it??? But I’m holding myself to my commitment to those that wanted to see more running stats. Remember: regardless of the length of your runs or the pace that you’re hitting on them, you deserve to take up space in the running community.

... Read moreRestarting a running routine after an infection can be challenging, but focusing on small, consistent milestones really made a difference for me. I've found that using structured plans, like the one from @runna, helps to build endurance gradually without overwhelming my body. I typically start with a 5-minute walking warm-up, then alternate running intervals with walking breaks. For example, running at a conversational pace for four minutes followed by one minute of walking. This method allowed me to steadily increase my distance without losing motivation or risking injury. The key has been patience and listening to my body's signals. Even when the pace seems slow or the distance modest compared to others, every run contributes to muscle memory and lung recovery. Celebrating these personal victories keeps me motivated. Also, being part of supportive communities, such as #slowrunner and #runningforbeginners, has provided encouragement and a sense of belonging. Remember, running isn't about speed or distance alone; it's about progress and persistence, and everyone deserves a place in the running world.

Why I love Bike Riding ✨🚴🏽‍♀️
Honestly, I love bike riding because it’s so freeing. It’s very different from stationary cycle or any type of peloton classes. I highly recommend its very adventurous and fun concept you engage with nature. You also get mindfulness, the peace of exploring on your own or with a group of friends! ☺️
