When I started running, I was terrified of people seeing me.

Would they stare? Judge? Whisper to themselves?

But here’s the truth:

No one knows how far into your run you are.

You’re never going to see most of these people again.

Their opinion has zero impact on your worth.

I wear a hat, pop in my headphones, and look at the ground ahead.

Eventually, the fear fades. And what’s left is pride.
